Magazines
In keeping with the Aurora Public Library's mission to provide individuals with a variety of materials and programs to support and increase their desire to read and view for pleasure, the library provides a small collection of magazines to appeal to a range of interests.
HOW LONG DO YOU KEEP MAGAZINES?
The most recent issue of each title is kept for in-library browsing until the next issue arrives, at which point the older issue may be checked out. The library retains back issues for varying periods of time, usually between 2-5 years.
HOW LONG CAN I BORROW THEM?
Magazines have a two-week checkout period, with one 2-week renewal allowed as long as no other patrons are waiting for the issue.
HOW MANY CAN I BORROW?
There are no limits on the number of magazines that may be checked out at a time (as many as you can keep track of!).
HOW CAN I SEARCH YOUR CATALOG?
You may search for magazines in the Aurora Public Library catalog. If you place a hold, make sure to select the specific issue you would like to read and, when verifying the information, to click the "this copy only" box.
